Student Demographic Update / Re-Registration

All parents and guardians of students entering grades K-4, 6-8 and 10-12 in the 2026-2027 school year must complete a demographic information update in Home Access Center. For students entering grades 5 and 9, additional steps are required. Please visit the Demographic Update / Re-Registration website for instructions. The deadline is Friday, April 17.


Sandburg SPIRIT Day

Please join us Thursday, 4/16/26, for a great cause (and some great food!) at the new, Langhorne Chick-fil-A - 1440 E Lincoln Hwy, Langhorne, PA 19047.

Carl Sandburg Middle School is partnering with Chick-fil-A for a fundraiser that supports our students and programs. When you dine in or order through the Chick-fil-A app during our event tomorrow, a portion of the proceeds will go right back to our school. Bring your family, invite friends, and enjoy a delicious meal while helping our community grow stronger together!

Sandburg PTO - Luau Dance

Friday, April 17, 2026 - 6:30 to 8:15pm   

Tickets are $5.00 and include a free slice of pizza, hotdog or pretzel and drink.

Candy and Additional Food available to purchase.

Student ID required to - Sandburg students only.


Field Day Tshirts

Sandburg’s AMAZING Field Day is on May 22nd. The shirts this year will be the same design as last year. Students may purchase a Field Day shirt, but it is certainly not required. Last names starting with the letters – A to K are on the BLUE TEAM, last names – L to Z are on the RED TEAM.

Middle School PSSA Testing Dates for 2026:

  • English Language Arts (Grades, 5, 6, 7, 8) - April 21, 22 & 24
  • Math (Grades 5, 6, 7, 8) - April 28 & April 29
  • Science (Grade 5, 8) - May 5 & May 6
  • Keystone Exams - May 13 & 14

Intramural Information  

Email the intramural advisor with any questions. ALWAYS listen to the announcements in the morning and afternoon for any additional intramural information. Most intramural activities are after school until 4:00pm. Check with the advisor to be sure. Intramural activities are sometimes canceled for various reasons. Listen to the announcements and have a back-up plan to get home just in case your activity is canceled.   Click here for information regarding intramurals, activities and clubs 


Sports Information 

  • Attention 6th, 7th and 8th graders that play football or are interested in playing football. There will be a middle school football mini camp at Neshaminy High School on April 26th at the High School Stadium from 5-7pm.  This is a free camp that the coaching staff and varsity players will be running. Please see Ms Huff for more details.

The PIAA CIPPE forms are needed by ALL 7th and 8th grade students that play any of the interscholastic middle school sports BEFORE they try out. It is recommended that you get your physical after May 31st every year. This way, it is valid for the entire school year. PIAA forms are available to print from the Athletic Directors website
