Student Demographic Update / Re-Registration

All parents and guardians of students entering grades K-4, 6-8 and 10-12 in the 2026-2027 school year must complete a demographic information update in Home Access Center. For students entering grades 5 and 9, additional steps are required. Please visit the Demographic Update / Re-Registration website for instructions. The deadline is Friday, April 17.  


Field Day

Sandburg do you want to help your Red or Blue team win Field Day?! 

Starting next week May 11th to the 15th the Field Day captains will be collecting peanut butter and jelly!

Simply bring in any PLASTIC container of unopened peanut butter or jelly and add it to the containers in the girl’s PE hallway from 7:25-7:50 to earn points for Field Day!  Then student council will assist in counting each jar.  Go RED Go BLUE!!!


Field Day Tshirts

Sandburg’s AMAZING Field Day is on May 22nd. The shirts this year will be the same design as last year. Students may purchase a Field Day shirt, but it is certainly not required. Last names starting with the letters – A to K are on the BLUE TEAM, last names – L to Z are on the RED TEAM.

Middle School PSSA Testing Dates for 2026:

  • English Language Arts (Grades, 5, 6, 7, 8) - April 21, 22 & 24
  • Math (Grades 5, 6, 7, 8) - April 28 & April 29
  • Science (Grade 5, 8) - May 5 & May 6
  • Keystone Exams - May 13 & 14

Intramural Information  

Email the intramural advisor with any questions. ALWAYS listen to the announcements in the morning and afternoon for any additional intramural information. Most intramural activities are after school until 4:00pm. Check with the advisor to be sure. Intramural activities are sometimes canceled for various reasons. Listen to the announcements and have a back-up plan to get home just in case your activity is canceled.   Click here for information regarding intramurals, activities and clubs 


Sports Information  

Any 8th grade field hockey player interested in trying out this summer, there will be a mandatory player and parent meeting on Monday, May 18th at 6:30 in the stadium. The meeting will take place after practice. Any questions, please reach out to Coach Pinto.

The PIAA CIPPE forms are needed by ALL 7th and 8th grade students that play any of the interscholastic middle school sports BEFORE they try out. It is recommended that you get your physical after May 31st every year. This way, it is valid for the entire school year. PIAA forms are available to print from the Athletic Directors website
